Judy Kelly is an award winning Irish documentary director and camerawoman, with two decades of experience making impactful factual films in the UK and Ireland.
Her film on migrants attempting to reach Europe, 'The Crossing' received Special Commendation for Best Documentary at the Prix Europa, Berlin 2017, and also won the Celtic Media Festival's Best Documentary Award in 2018.
Other awards for her documentaries include IFTA Best Factual Series (for John Lonergan's Circus, 2013), Royal Television Society Award for best current affairs (for RTÉ Investigates - Inside Ireland's Covid Battle), and other Celtic Media Festival Awards (for The Rotunda), and the Irish Medical Media Award for her Prime Time Investigates film on health inequality in Ireland in 2005.
She has made films for RTÉ, Channel 4, and Virgin Media Ireland.
